My goodness. My wife and I have been to many art museums - from the Louvre in Paris to the Milwaukee Art Museum - and, pound for pound, the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum is absolutely wonderful. Our very first visit to this gem a couple of days ago brought a smile to me at every turn, from the beautifully-maintained outdoor garden and unique sculptures to the interesting exhibits inside a professionally-presented viewing space that covers three floors. Congratulations, Wausau, you have a winner!
