Workshops and Children’s Summer Art Sessions
Enriching, hands-on art making abounds during workshops for teens and adults and Summer Art Sessions for children.
Snow Sculpture
Each year since 1990, Team USA has created snow sculpture at the Museum to complement exhibitions. Mike Martino, Tom Queoff, and Mike Sponholtz have demonstrated their competitive skills around the globe, winning a bronze medal at the Nagano, Japan, Winter Olympics in 1998.
Watch Team USA in action as 20 hours of work is condensed to six minutes flat! The result: a seated ball player inspired by a Colima sculpture in the 2010 exhibition, Las Artes de Mexico.
