March 1 – 30, 2014
Colorful and imaginative artwork of ninety-three north central Wisconsin students in grades 9-12 are on view in the 37th annual Student Art Exhibition through March 30 at the Woodson Art Museum. Each March, the nation promotes art education by focusing on student work. Art teachers are encouraged to submit student works for the Museum’s high school student exhibition, and thirty-one teachers did so this year. Students express their ideas in various mediums, including portraits in oil, pencil, ink, and photography. Sculpture entries include a ceramic totem and various creatures from sea, land, and space.
